What is RAFTING?

Rafting is a sport that consists of rafting down rapids in RAFT! Rafting is an unsinkable inflatable boat or boat (which cannot be sunk). Sail safely on the rivers and white waters of France or the World in Rafting, indulge yourself or fill up with adrenaline as you wish by descending the rapids of several difficulties classified from 1 to 6, 1 being the easiest and 6 the hardest.

How is rafting practiced?

Rafting is practiced on an inflatable boat that can hold up to 10 people. It is the safest boat to start or discover the rapids of the Nive. The guide is at the back of the rafting to guide him while you help him by paddling while enjoying your descent. This very stable boat will allow you to have an unforgettable first experience. For the more experienced, the instructor will be able to make this descent more sparkling by playing with the elements of the river (current, counter-current, rock…) and will offer you jumps and games in the water. We propose you the descent on the NIVE from Saint Martin d’Arrossa to Bidarray, a 7 km course classified 2 with some rapids of class 3.

The Rafting trip is ideal for having fun with family or friends and admiring the sublime landscape of the Nive valley at the foot of the Basque mountains in the Atlantic Pyrenees.
