The tubing, a big buoy!!!

Tubing is a big individual buoy, in other words a rafting for one person. You are sitting and propelling yourself with a double paddle. A very funny activity that ensures you have an entertaining time. Mastering the “beast” in the rapids will be your challenge…

To make you go in circles….

You have a double paddle, a wetsuit (depending on the weather), a lifejacket, a helmet and you are comfortably seated…, almost like a kayak. Has a difference ready… the boat. A kayak like a canoe goes “almost” straight, except there, your boat is round, you might as well say, to go straight you will need a few strokes of the paddle for this floating object to obey you. Between the rocks and the rapids of the Nive, finding your way remains a small challenge, sometimes easy to see a little less, but I assure you, all this is done in a fun way. Rely on the instructor to help you or not… And if it’s too easy for you, the instructor will challenge you with challenges such as “jousts”, standing the longest… Come and be reassured because the route between Ossetia and Bidarray is worth a visit, it is surely one of the most beautiful routes in the Basque Country.
